What type of locations fit into Extreme Pita site criteria? |
Extreme Pita franchises are generally 1000 to 1200 square feet; however, smaller or larger stores are an option. They are usually located in neighborhood and community strip centers, power centers, shopping malls and downtown business district locations. The optimal area is typically densely populated, has significant traffic count, is highly visible and is located near numerous traffic generators.
|
Will the Extreme Pita select the location and build the store for me? |
The Extreme Pita is actively seeking prime locations. In certain instances, you may choose to open a store in a location selected by yourself, though the location must be evaluated and approved by the Extreme Pita. The Extreme Pita will also coordinate construction of the store.
|
I have little experience in negotiating leases. Will the Extreme Pita offer assistance in this area? |
Yes. The Extreme Pita will fully negotiate or aid in lease negotiations for Franchisees.
|
How do I get building plans? |
The Extreme Pita will provide building plans for your location, including any necessary architectural and/or engineering drawings.
|
Are there any continuing or ongoing fees after I pay the initial franchise fee? |
Canada: Sales Royalty: 5% of Gross Sales; Marketing Royalty 3% of Gross Sales (see Disclosure Document for definition of Gross Sales)
United States of America: 6% of Gross Sales; Marketing Royalty 3% of Gross Sales (see Uniform Franchise Offering Circular for definition of Gross Sales).
|
How much money can I make from an Extreme Pita investment? |
Naturally, there are many factors involved in determining the level of revenues and expenses of an individual store. The Franchisees' skills, location, overhead costs, etc., will all have an influence.
|
Is experience in running a small business required? |
While small business experience is helpful, it is not required. You will receive step-by-step training at Extreme Pita headquarters in Toronto in the important aspects of operating your business, including operational, marketing, nutritional and customer service classes. You also receive hands-on training behind the service counter and in the food preparation area. The desire and effort of the Franchisee is more important than restaurant, business or retailing experience.
|
Do I have to run the store? |
You are required to run your store or have an individual with 25% equity ownership run our store. It is our experience that most successful stores are those operated by the owner(s) or a seasoned retail manager.
